Chief Operations Officer

The Chief Operations Officer is a senior executive level position within the Oaktree Foundation. Working closely within Oaktree Executive team, the COO will report directly to the Deputy CEO, and is responsible for the implementation of our strategic plan. The COO is responsible for ensuring that Oaktree considers the impacts on and interests of state-teams in its decision making, and has a nation-wide identity and culture.

Chief Business Development Officer

The Chief Business Development Officer is a senior executive leader within the Oaktree Foundation. This is a huge opportunity for a young leader to drive the financial growth and income diversification of a fast-growing, multi-million dollar non-profit organisation.

  • The CBDO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, and is responsible for growing and diversifying Oaktree’s revenue streams which may include Grants, Partnerships, Corporate Engagement, Sponsorship, Investments, Philanthropy and Social Enterprise.
  • The CBDO is a core member of the most senior Executive leadership team, contributing to Executive decision-making and organisational strategy.

Queensland State Director

The role of the QLD State Director is to lead, inspire and grow
the QLD team in effective implementation of Oaktree initiatives.
This role involves visioning for the strategic direction of
Oaktree, with the National Extended Leadership Team, and
then ensuring these initiatives are translated into the QLD
context.  Working with some of the best young leaders around the country the QLD State Director is the central communication point which mobilises young people in QLD to join the movement to end extreme poverty.

Corporate Sponsorship Manager

The Sponsorship Manager is a keen networker and a strong salesman (or woman!) You are passionate about ending extreme poverty and will take that passion to the corporate sector, building new and exciting relationships. This is a short term role centred around Oaktree’s milestone fundraising event, in October. For the right person, there will be strong pathways to other roles in the second half of the year.

National Generate Director

The National Generate Director will manage Oaktree’s engagement with committed university-aged young people through the Generate program. We aim to provide an exceptional experience to 400 young people each year, providing them with the skills, knowledge and networks to be effective in the movement to end extreme poverty. In the sixth year of the program, this role will involve consistent evaluation and development of the program, as well as cementing Generate as the leading program for young people aged 18-26 in Australia.

Cambodia Partnership Manager

The BSI Partnership Manager reports to the Cambodia Country Director, and sits within both the Cambodia and International Engagement teams. The BSI Partnership Manager is primarily responsible for building and continuing a strong, respectful and trusting partnership between local Cambodian organisation, KAPE’s Beacon Schools Initiative and Oaktree. This relationship, along with a number of project management methods and tools utilised by the Partnership Manager, will ensure the success of the Oaktree’s funding partnership and provide practical overseas development solutions.
