For Teachers

School students at Oaktree aren’t waiting to lead against injustice. They’re leading now.

S4S in your school!

We’re run entirely by young people under the age of 26 – so are uniquely placed to help your students see that they can be leaders today – not just tomorrow. All our staff are passionate young volunteers – dedicated to bringing your students on a journey of growth, leadership, responsibility and compassion! Sign up to join the Schools 4 Schools program, where we bring schools in the developing world into partnership with Australian schools – and create real relationships of meaning and value!

Live Below the Line in May 2011!

Live Below the Line

From May 16th-20th, thousands of students around Australia will be living on just $2 a day for 5 days. These students will get just a taste of what it’s like to live in extreme poverty, and by doing so get sponsored by friends and family to raise money for education in remote Papua New Guinea.

Schools 4 Schools State Summits

In March and April, passionate and driven student leaders have the chance to attend the Schools 4 Schools State Summits. Held in each capital city around the country, those lucky enough to secure a place will be equipped with all the skills, knowledge and connections to be a leader of change today – not tomorrow.

Profile

“I implore you to continue the amazing work that you do. There is such desperate need for the youth of today to take responsibility for global issues and confront injustices that are sadly, currently so prevalent in our world. It is through programs such as Schools 4 Schools that we are able to inform and educate our students about global issues that undoubtedly affect them, be it directly or indirectly.
